Caber House is 3km from the centre of Mount Barker and is ideally situated approx. 50 km from both the City of Albany and the picturesque coastal town of Denmark.  It is the perfect place to base yourself and explore the Porongurup Range and it's popular Granite Skywalk which is 20 km away. The rugged Stirling Range is 50 km to the north and is a prominent feature when looking out from Caber House.

Caber House is 200km from the tall timber country around Manjimup and Pemberton.

Enjoy bush walks and wildflowers in season ( August to November) from Caber House. Mount Barker, Porongurup & Frankland wine regions have numerous premium wineries for you to enjoy.

The town is serviced by TransWA which has a daily bus service from Perth, a journey of 360 km.  The Albany Airport is a 20 minute drive from Mount Barker.
